My Daddy used to sing a song called "Old Buttermilk Sky." I never heard of a starfish sky either, which seemed, to me, a most excellent reason to paint one.
You know, Winnie, whenever I see this painting, I'm amazed at the puffy quality it has, almost like a quilt. It's very effective. I hope you paint more using this technique this is.

Hmmmm. Never heard of a starfish sky before. Heard of a mackeral sky. Wish I was a starfish or a mackeral.
